The AnalogWay QuickVu Switcher is a nice piece of kit. It can do a lot but it has some defaut settings that can be a buit distracting.
One of them, for me at least, is the presence of the Layer overlay. Obviously, this is useful if you're actually using it but it's really just "there" if you're not.
I was on a job recently with a tech who wondered if there was a way to get rid of it and it got me thinking and digging deep into the settings and the manual. Eventually I found it...
So what are we discussing here?
I'm sure you've seen it and probably been annoyed by it too!
Let's see how tio get rid of it.
In the Menu, make your way down to the Control Options.
In the Control Menu, navigate to the Functions Option.
Scroll down to the "Hide Unused" option and check the box.
Once you've done this, there won't be any notifications or "well done you..." type things on the Menu screen. The only sign that it's worked is that your Preview Monitor should now look like this:
And there you go. You've cleaned up your workspace and made your life more visually appealing! 😎👍🏽
